This policy explains what personal information The Basics Cohort ("TBC", "I") collects, why, and what you can do about it. TBC is run by Sachin Sharma.
What I collect
When you register for a cohort, you give me:
- Your name and email address
- Your phone number (optional)
- Your current experience level and what you want to get out of the cohort
When you pay, you send me a payment screenshot or UPI transaction ID by email. Payments happen inside your own UPI app. I never see or store your bank, card or UPI PIN details.
How I use it
- To process your registration and confirm your seat
- To contact you about your cohort: session links, schedule changes, recordings and assignments
- To understand who is joining so I can shape the cohort around you
- To let you know about future cohorts. You can ask me to stop at any time.
I don't sell your information or share it with advertisers.
Where it's stored
Registration details are stored in a private spreadsheet that only I can access. Emails stay in my email inbox. The website is hosted on Vercel, which may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.
During a cohort, your name and anything you post may be visible to other students in the live sessions and the community group.
How long I keep it
I keep registration details for as long as needed to run your cohort and keep basic payment records, and for up to 3 years afterwards so I can tell you about future cohorts. You can ask me to delete them sooner.
Cookies
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can ask me to:
- Show you the information I hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete your information
- Stop sending you emails about future cohorts
Email mail.sachinshrmaa@gmail.com and I'll respond within 7 days.
